The Gatehouse is a purpose-built, carrier-neutral data centre facility.
The facility is operated by MIGSOLV, a consultancy specialising in data centre environments. Located in Norwich, Norfolk, the Gatehouse consists of two buildings on a nine acre site. It was originally owned by Norwich Union (Aviva) until it was purchased in 2010.
In a major refurbishment, the gatehouse buildings were stripped back to their bare walls. Using their years of expertise in data centre design and operation, MIGSOLV re-fitted the buildings. Each were fitted with the latest environmentally friendly equipment, bringing them up to the latest standards.
At long last, the Gatehouse opened its doors in 2011. Now it is a world-class facility, providing secure, high-quality data centre services throughout the UK.
